The next show is at Kung Fu Necktie in Philly with Buddy Leezle and Rock On. It’s called the Lo Sho and for those who don’t know about Lo Heads or Lo Lifes they are basically Polo fanatics. They will pay $325 for a 17 year old Polo Sport collar shirt. They collect anything that’s Polo and usually have a ridiculous amount of Ralph Lauren in their closet. They can tell you what year and season a particular polo shirt was released and they are also rumored to be notorious shop lifters in the Polo section of department stores. It is definitely interesting to see their passion for all that is Lo. I’m sure you can meet a bunch at this show.
No matter what the subject, there’s always someone geeking out about it. Though I would have guessed Polo-lovers would go more for swing music or barbershop. Probably ’cause I’m old!
hahah.. This is true. Well it started in New York and I would consider NYC a classy city so it makes a little sense but I get the swing reference.
